The team behind TWRP has released version 3.0.0 (3.0.0-0) of the popular custom recovery for Android devices. For some years, TWRP recovery has been the best custom recovery for many android devices. Although, it is hard to say which is more popular between the TWRP Recovery and the ClockWorkMOD Recovery, what is certain is, TWRP is a great custom recovery to have flashed on your android devices if you wish to flashing custom ROMs, kernels, and for other customization and maintenance purposes of your android devices.
The latest version of the recovery prior to the release of this 3.0.0 was 2.8.2. This version brings many goodies. Those who use TWRP to flash files once in a while won’t be interested, but those who frequently flash files will certainly like the new features embedded in the 3.0.0 version of TWRP.
What is new on TWRP 22.214.171.124Version 3.0.0 of TWRP is the first release in a long time, since version 2.8.2 has been around for quite a while now. The user interface has been changed. Using the 3.0.0 version, you can flash sparse images on certain devices. And there is also added support for adopted storage on a few devices.
Another development that should be noted is the AOSP base which has been updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The list goes on with a long list of minor fixes and tweaks which users will not notice, at least, not immediately.
